Kline Med.|klaɪn| The name of Benjamin S. Kline (b. 1886), U.S. pathologist, used attrib. to designate a diagnostic test for syphilis devised by him in which serum, blood, or spinal fluid is mixed on a slide with a lipid antigen and examined under a microscope for precipitation.
