ˈkitless, a. [f. kit n.1 + -less.] Having no kit (kit n.1 2 b); without (adequate, suitable) clothing. The definitions in the work cited in quot. 1846 are often unsatisfactory; it nevertheless seems to provide a genuine example of the sense defined above.
