[ad. Chinese Jiāngxī the name of a province in S.E. China, f. jiāng river, spec. the Yangtze river of central China + xī west.]
attrib. Designating or pertaining to the period of communist rule in this province from 1929 to 1934, esp. the independent soviet republic established by Mao Zedong in 1931.
