Karelian, n. and a.|kəˈriːlɪən| Also Carelian. [f. Karelia, name of a region in Eastern Finland and of a republic in the adjoining parts of the U.S.S.R.] A. n. a. A native or inhabitant of Karelia. b. The Finno-Ugric language of this people.
