anamnestic, a. and n.|ænəmˈnɛstɪk| [ad. Gr. ἀναµνηστικ-ός able to recall to mind, f. ἀναµνηστ-ός vbl. adj. f. ἀναµνα-: see prec.] A. adj. Recalling to mind; aiding the memory or recollection.
