Japhetic, a.|dʒəˈfɛtɪk| Also Japetic. [f. Japheth (or L. Japetus) + -ic.] Of or belonging to Japheth, one of the sons of Noah; descended or supposed to be descended from Japheth: sometimes applied to the Indo-European family.
