Reichstag|ˈraɪçʃtaːk, ˈraɪkstɑːg| [Ger., f. gen. sing. of Reich + tag diet: cf. Bundestag.] The diet or parliament of the German Empire (1871–1918) (formerly also, that of the North German Confederation) and of post-Imperial Germany until 1945; the building in Berlin in which this parliament met.
