‖ jaborandi (dʒæbəˈrændɪ, prop. ˌdʒaboranˈdiː) [Tupi-Guarani jaburandí, also jaburandiba (iba plant, tree).] The dried leaflets of a Brazilian plant Pilocarpus pinnatifolius, family Rutaceæ, having diuretic and sudorific properties. Also applied to other plants having similar properties.
