† inˈvoluble, a. Obs. rare. [ad. late L. involūbilis (Ambrosius, c 375), f. in- (in-3) + volūbilis able to be turned round, mutable, f. volv-ĕre to roll, turn round.] 1. That cannot turn or change; immutable.
