‖ interˈcentrum Comp. Anat. [f. inter- 3 + centrum.] A wedge-shaped or chevron-shaped process, generally situated between the centra, occurring on the ventral aspect of the vertebral column in many Vertebrates, and especially in Reptiles; = hypapophysis.
