Visiˈtandine [a. F., irreg. f. L. vīsitand-, gerundial stem of vīsitāre to visit + -ine.] a. A nun belonging to the Order of the Visitation, founded in 1610 by Mme. de Chantal (St. Frances) under the direction of St. Francis de Sales.
