▪ I. indwelling, vbl. n.|ˈɪnˌdwɛlɪŋ| [f. in adv. 11 c + dwelling vbl. n.: cf. indwell v. In Wyclif rendering L. inhabitātio.] The action of dwelling in a place; residence. Usually fig.: esp. The abiding of God or the Divine Spirit in the heart or soul.
