indfine Irish Hist.|ˈɪndfɪnɪ| Also indfhine, innfine. [O.Ir. (mod.Ir. innfhine) f. ind end + fine family, fine n.2] One of the four branches of the Irish clan structure comprising the men most distantly related to the chief. Cf. geilfine, iarfine; the fourth branch is the derbfine.
