incentor Now rare.|ɪnˈsɛntə(r)| Also 6 -our, 9 (erron.) -er. [a. L. incentor singer, setter of a tune, inciter, from incinĕre: see incention.] 1. One who excites or stirs up (strife, etc.); one who incites to action.
