ˌhæmato-ˈcrystallin Chem. [f. hæmato- + crystallin.] a. The special form of crystallin or globulin found in the blood-corpuscles. b. ‘A name given to hæmoglobin when it is obtained in a crystalline condition’ (Syd. Soc. Lex. 1886).
