hydrographic, a.|haɪdrəʊˈgræfɪk| [See prec.] = next. Hydrographic Department (or Hydrographic Office), the office of the Hydrographer to the Admiralty in Great Britain, and of the Navy Department in U.S. In Great Britain the style Hydrographic Department has been used in the official Navy List since 1854, while in other official documents the title is Hydrographical.
