hydratuba|ˌhaɪdrəˈtjuːbə| [f. hydra II. 6 + tuba1, formerly Hydra tuba, when the organism was thought to be a species of Hydra; in reference to the shape of the larva.] The polyp-like larval stage of a jellyfish of the class Scyphozoa; a scyphistoma.
