Hudibrastic, a. (n.)|hjuːdɪˈbræstɪk|
[f. Hudibras, after such words as fantastic, periphrastic.]
In the metre or after the manner of Hudibras, the celebrated mock-heroic satirical poem of Samuel Butler published in 1663–78; burlesque-heroic.
