† alˈmightin, n. and a. Obs. Also 2 almihtin, 3 almihten, -miȝtin, -mightin, -mightten. [variant of almighty, with a termination imitating that of Drihtin, drihten, Lord.] An ancient form of almighty, used subst. as a title of the Deity, in apposition to God; also alone.
