helleborine Bot.|ˈhɛlɪbɒraɪn| [mod. ad. Gr. ἑλλεβορίνη a plant like hellebore: see -ine: cf. F. elleborine.] An orchidaceous plant of the genus Epipactis (formerly called Serapias), or of the closely-allied genus Cephalanthera.
