Alclad, n. Metallurgy.|ˈælklæd| Also alclad. [f. aluminium n. + clad ppl. a.] A proprietary name for a composite material consisting of sheets of aluminium alloy coated with pure aluminium (or an aluminium alloy different from that of the core) to increase corrosion resistance.
