akoluthic, a.|ækəˈluːθɪk| Also acoˈluthic [f. Gr. ἀκόλουθος following + -ic.] Following, subsequent; spec. R. Semon's term (G. akoluthe in Die Mneme (ed. 2) 1908, p. 18) designating the phase following the initial excitation of a sensation.
