Godwinian, a. and n.|gɒdˈwɪnɪən| [f. the name of William Godwin (1756–1836) + -ian.] A. adj. Pertaining to or characteristic of Godwin's views on politics, social reform, etc. B. n. An adherent of Godwin's views. So ˈGodwinism, Godwin's doctrine or ideas; ˈGodwinist, an adherent of Godwinism.
