‖ umtagati, n. S. Afr.|umtaˈgati| Also mtagati, umtakati, umthakathi. Pl. unchanged. [Nguni umthakathi; cf. Nguni ubuthakathi witchcraft.] 1. Amongst the Nguni peoples: a witch or wizard; a practitioner of evil magic.
