1646Sir T. Browne Pseud. Ep. ii. i. 55 Oyled paper..becommeth more transparent, and admits the visible rayes with lesse umbrosity. 1650Bulwer Anthropomet. v. (1653) 100 Kypler would not have this notion neglected, that the Haires of the Eye-lids do chiefly conduce to their umbrosity. |
