tyndallization|ˌtɪndəlaɪˈzeɪʃən| [f. the name of John Tyndall (see prec.); cf. pasteurization.] A method of sterilization in which time is allowed between repeated heatings for bacteria to develop; fractional or intermittent sterilization. So ˈtyndallize v. trans. to sterilize by this process (Webster, 1911).
