turntablist, n. Music. Brit. |ˈtəːnˌteɪblˌɪst|, U.S. |ˈtərnˌteɪb(ə)ləst| [‹ turntable n. + -ist suffix.] A DJ who performs by playing and manipulating record turntables (by scratching, mixing, etc.), sometimes using the turntables like an instrument in the context of a group performance.
