gastrosoph|ˈgæstrəʊsɒf| [f. Gr. γαστρ(ο)-, γαστήρ stomach + σοϕ-ός wise.] One who is skilled in matters of eating. Hence gaˈstrosopher = gastrosoph; gaˈstrosophy, the science of good eating.
