trichotomize, v.|trɪ-, traɪˈkɒtəmaɪz| [f. as next + -ize: cf. dichotomize.] trans. To divide into three parts; to arrange or classify in three divisions, or in groups of three. Also absol. Hence triˈchotomist2, one who trichotomizes or practises trichotomy.
