transˈcultural, a. [f. trans- 3, 4 + cultural a.] Transcending the limitations or crossing the boundaries of cultures; applicable to more than one culture; cross-cultural; spec. transcultural psychiatry, psychiatry applied to disorders due to migration from one cultural environment to another.
