fluphenazine, n. Pharm.|fluːˈfɛnəziːn| [f. fluoro- + phenothiazine n., elements of the systematic name.] A phenothiazine derivative, C22H26F3N3OS , with antipsychotic and tranquillizing properties, given orally (as the hydrochloride) or by injection in the treatment of schizophrenia and related conditions.
