fixit, n. colloq. (orig. and chiefly N. Amer.).|ˈfɪksɪt| Also Fixit, fix-it. [f. the phr. to fix it: see fix v. 14.] 1. A person who mends, puts right, or ‘fixes’ things; esp. as a nickname with Mr., Miss, etc. prefixed: see Mr. Fixit s.v. n. 2 e.
