tobermorite Min.|təʊbəˈmɔəraɪt| [f. Tobermory, name of a village on the Isle of Mull, Scotland + -ite1.] A hydrated, basic calcium silicate occuring as masses of pale pinkish white translucent orthorhombic crystals.
