Tironian, a.|taɪˈrəʊnɪən| [ad. L. Tīrōniān-us, in notæ Tīrōniānæ Tironian notes.] Of or pertaining to Tiro, the freedman of Cicero: Tironian notes, a system of shorthand in use in ancient Rome, said to have been invented or introduced by Tiro.
