Thoreauvian, n. and a.|θəˈrəʊvɪən| [f. Thoreauv-ius, Latinized form of Thoreau (see below) + -ian.] A. n. One who admires the writings or shares the philosophy of Henry David Thoreau (1817–62), U.S. naturalist and writer. B. adj. Resembling or characteristic of Thoreau's writing or philosophy.
