expensilation Rom. Law.|ɛkˌspɛnsɪˈleɪʃən| [ad. L. expensilātiōn-em, properly expensīlātiō a setting down of expenditures. Cf. acceptilation.] A process by which an existing cause of debt was merged in a new formal obligation (compare the English ‘account stated’, and the contract of exchange in the law merchant).
