Thermidor (θɜːmɪˈdɔː(r), ‖ tɛrmidɔr) [Fr. (1793), f. Gr. θέρµη heat + δῶρον gift.] 1. The eleventh month of the French revolutionary calendar, extending (in 1794) from July 19 to August 17.
