eusuchian, n. and a. Zool.|juːˈsjuːkɪən| [f. mod.L. Eusuchi-a (f. eu- + Gr. σοῦχ-ος crocodile) + -an.] A. n. A crocodilian of the sub-order Eusuchia, whose members include all the extant alligators, true crocodiles (Crocodylidae), and the gavial. B. adj. Belonging to or characteristic of this sub-order.
