episememe, n. Linguistics.|ɛpɪˈsiːmiːm| [f. epi- + sememe n.] In the writings of Leonard Bloomfield: the meaning of a tagmeme (sense 1); hence more generally among later structural linguists: the meaning of any grammatical construction. See tagmeme n.
