epigamic, a. Zool.|ɛpɪˈgæmɪk| [f. Gr. ἐπί upon + γάµος marriage + -ic. Cf. Gr. ἐπίγαµος marriageable.] Relating to the mating of animals and the characteristics of colour, etc., which serve to attract the opposite sex during courtship.
