embrocate, v. Med.|ˈɛmbrəkeɪt| Also 7 embrochate, imbrocate. [f. med.L. embrocāt- ppl. stem of embrocāre, f. embrocha: see embroch.] trans. To bathe or foment (a part of the body) with liquid, in order to remove or mitigate disease.
