eclosion|ɪˈkləʊʒən| [a. F. éclosion, n. of action of éclore, f. é- = ex- + clore:—L. claudĕre to shut.] Emergence from concealment; spec. in Ent., the emerging of an insect from the pupa case, or of a larva from the egg.
