† surfetous, a. (adv.) Obs. Forms: 4–6 -ouse, 5 surf(f)etus, 6 surfettouse. [a. AF. surfetous, f. surfet surfeit n.: see -ous.] Immoderate, intemperate; surfeited with food or drink.
