acrocarpous, a. Bot.|ˌækrəʊˈkɑːpəs| [mod. f. Gr. ἄκρο-, see acro- + καρπ-ός fruit + -ous.] Having the fructification at the end or top of the primary axis; terminal-fruited. Said of some mosses.
