disˈfurnish, v. [ad. OF. desfourniss-, extended stem of desfournir, also deff-, défournir, f. des-, dis- 4 + fournir to furnish.] trans. To deprive or divest of that wherewith it is furnished; to strip of furniture or belongings; to render destitute (of).
