disdiaˈclastic, a. rare. [f. mod.L. disdiaclast-us doubly refracting (irreg. f. Gr. δίς twice + *διακλαστός, vbl. adj. of διακλάειν to break in two) + -ic.] Doubly refracting: applied to crystals; also, of the nature of disdiaclasts.
