discharged, ppl. a.|dɪsˈtʃɑːdʒd| [f. as prec. + -ed1.] Freed from a charge, load, obligation, etc.; exonerated, released, dismissed, emitted, etc. Discharged Living, (in Ch. of Engl.) a benefice that is exempt from the payment of First-fruits, its value having been returned in the Liber Regis of K. Henry VIII as less than {pstlg}10. Cf. discharge v. 2, quot. 1786.
