‖ Diplozoon Zool.|dɪpləʊˈzəʊɒn| Pl. -zoa. [f. diplo- +Gr. ζῶον animal.] A genus of trematode worms, parasitic on the gills of fishes; the mature organism is double, consisting of two individuals (Diporpæ) fused together in the form of an X.
