dexamphetamine Pharm.|ˌdɛksæmˈfɛtəmiːn, -ɪn| [f. dextro- + amphetamine.] The dextro-rotatory isomer of amphetamine, used in the form of the sulphate and phosphate and having effects similar to those of amphetamine sulphate but more marked. Also called ˌdextro-amˈphetamine.
