devil's milk Herb. [tr. by Lyte of Ger. Teufelsmilch, Du. Duyvels melck.] A name given to plants with acrid milky juice. a. The Sun-Spurge (Euphorbia Helioscopia) and Petty Spurge (E. Peplus).
